Frequently Asked Questions

Are my photos stored in the cloud?

No. BumpLapse is 100% offline. Your photos, voice messages, and personal data are stored only on your device. We never upload anything to any server.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

Since all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app will permanently delete your photos, voice messages, and timelapse videos. We recommend exporting your timelapse to your photo library before uninstalling.

How do I create a timelapse?

Take at least 4-5 weekly bump photos using the app's camera (with ghost overlay for consistent framing). Then go to the Creations tab and tap "Create Timelapse". The app will automatically generate a beautiful 9:16 video with smooth transitions.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Go to your device's subscription settings to cancel at any time. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open BumpLapse on your new device and go to Settings. Tap "Restore Purchases" and your subscription will be restored automatically through the App Store or Google Play Store.

Can I transfer my photos to a new phone?

Since BumpLapse stores photos locally, they are included in your device backup (iCloud backup for iOS, Google backup for Android). When you restore your new phone from a backup, your BumpLapse data should transfer automatically.

What pregnancy weeks does the app cover?

BumpLapse covers weeks 4 through 42 of pregnancy. You can start tracking at any point during your pregnancy.
